Please write to your MP expressing your deep concern over Islamophobia and prejudice within the CBSA.

The most important driving force for this crisis is the lack of oversight over the CBSA which allows individual officers an almost unlimited power to act based on personal prejudice.

Under Canadian immigration law, an individual CBSA officer may take a position based on their own intelligence that a group abroad has engaged in terrorist activities and is not bound by Canada’s terrorist list.
